Description
The winter wheat variety "Dikan'ka" of universal use was developed by crossing the varieties Yuzhna Zarya and Chayka. This variety is distinguished by high cold resistance, drought tolerance, and resistance to various diseases, ensuring a stable high yield on different soil types and agroclimates. Plant height reaches 94-102 cm, and potential yield ranges from 6.5 to 9.5 tons per hectare.
The grain of the "Dikan'ka" variety has a thousand-grain weight within 47.2-49.5 grams, high gluten content (30.5-32.3%) and protein content (13.6-15.0%), providing excellent baking qualities. The grain quality meets the standard DSTU 3768:2010, with moisture content not exceeding 13.5%, weed contamination not exceeding 1%, and damage by the wheat bug allowed up to 2%.
The variety is produced by Poltava State Agrarian Academy, which guarantees high quality and stable performance. Due to the combination of many economically useful traits, the "Dikan'ka" variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and ensures a reliable yield even under adverse weather conditions and stress.
