BAGRAT

Bagrat is a medium-early, medium-height variety of soft winter wheat with plant height of about 81-102 cm. It is characterized by intense spring growth and resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The vegetative period of the variety ranges from 219 to 278 days, ensuring optimal development and high productivity of the crop.

Bagrat features high yield potential of 82.5-88.5 centners per hectare and record figures up to 100 centners per hectare. The variety possesses above-average frost resistance and high drought tolerance, allowing successful cultivation in the North Caucasus region and other areas with similar conditions. The sowing rate is 3-4 million viable seeds per hectare, which contributes to achieving maximum productivity.

The variety is resistant to a number of diseases, including brown, yellow, and stem rust, as well as powdery mildew, while having moderate resistance to glume blotch and loose smut. The main goal of using the Bagrat variety is to obtain high-quality grain suitable for baking products. It is recommended to grow after fallow and cereal predecessors on medium and low agrobackgrounds, which contributes to stable and high yield.
