DON'YA

DON'YA is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) intended for cultivation in Russia. It belongs to the lutescens variety and is characterized by early maturity and medium plant height. The variety has medium to above-average winter hardiness and resistance to lodging, ensuring stable plant development under various climatic conditions. The mass of 1000 grains is 38-39 grams, indicating good grain quality.

DON'YA demonstrates high yield, especially in the North Caucasus region, where the average figure reached 40.8 centners per hectare, exceeding the standard average by 1.7 centners. The variety has excellent baking qualities, making it in demand for flour and bakery product production. The technological properties of the grain allow its use in the food industry to produce high-quality products.

The variety has medium resistance to brown and yellow rust, but is more susceptible to loose smut, powdery mildew, and septoria. Despite this, DON'YA remains a popular choice due to its high yield figures and grain quality, making it profitable for farmers and flour producers.
