Description
IloTe is a soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety belonging to the erythrospermum group. Depending on the growing region, the variety exhibits different maturity periods: in the Volga-Vyatsk region, it is medium-early with a vegetative period of 308-347 days, while in the North-Caucasus region, it is early-maturing, with a vegetative period of 223-270 days. IloTe plants can be either tall (82-114 cm) or dwarf, and the mass of 1000 grains varies from 36 to 50 grams. The variety is characterized by good to excellent baking qualities, making it a strong wheat in demand for the production of high-quality flour. The variety exhibits enhanced winter hardiness and drought tolerance, comparable to varieties such as Bezenchukskaya 380, Volzskaya K, and Skipter. In the North-Caucasus region, IloTe demonstrates resistance to spring frosts at a level equal to or higher than the variety Donskaya bezostaya. However, the variety is susceptible to certain diseases, including brown and yellow rust, septoria, and powdery mildew. Yield varies depending on the region: average yield reaches 30.3 c/ha in the Volga-Vyatsk region and 48.0 c/ha in the North-Caucasus, with maximum indicators up to 59.6 c/ha. IloTe is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Russia, including the Sverdlovsk region, the South-foot-hill zone of the Krasnodar Territory, and the Stavropol Territory. Thanks to its adaptive properties and high baking qualities, this variety is a promising choice for agricultural producers seeking to obtain a stable and high-quality crop of soft winter wheat.
