KAZANSKAYA YUBILEYNAYA

Kazanskaya Yubileynaya — a type of soft spring wheat created through selection based on hybridization (Omskaya 20 x Lutescens 204/80-1) x Lutescens 3/86-6. This variety belongs to the Lutescens group and is characterized by a semi-erect bush, a cylindrical head of medium density, and oval colored grain with a long awn. The mass of 1000 grains ranges from 34 to 38 grams, indicating good grain quality. The flag leaf and culm are covered with a strong waxy coating, which contributes to the plant's resistance to unfavorable conditions.

The variety is mid-season, with a vegetative period of about 87-90 days, allowing it to be successfully cultivated in the Middle-Volga and West-Siberian regions. Kazanskaya Yubileynaya is distinguished by high resistance to spring and early summer droughts, making it competitive under conditions of limited moisture. The yield of the variety varies from an average of 29 centners per hectare to a maximum of 51 centners, confirming its potential for obtaining stable and high yields.

In terms of disease resistance, the variety shows moderate susceptibility to hard head smut and brown rust, which requires attention during protective measures.
