Agronomic Parameters and Yield Potential

Meisa is a semi-dwarf variety with a height ranging from 90 to 100 cm. Its restricted stem height, coupled with superior structural integrity, provides excellent resistance to lodging. This is a critical factor for intensive cultivation practices involving high fertilizer inputs. The variety is engineered to maintain a plant density of 4.5–5.0 million productive stems per hectare.

Pathogen Resistance and Phytosanitary Protection

Furthermore, it shows high tolerance to powdery mildew, various rust species, and fusarium head blight in field conditions. This natural resistance profile allows for a reduction in fungicide applications, which optimizes the economic return and minimizes the risk of mycotoxin accumulation in the final product.
