MELODY DONA

Melody Dona is a spring durum wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) variety developed by FGBOU «DZNIIISKh» and intended for agricultural cultivation. It is characterized by medium maturity and high ecological plasticity, which allows for successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. The recommended sowing rate is 5 million viable seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal crop development and high productivity.

The variety is characterized by high yields, averaging 18.2 centners per hectare in the North Caucasus region, with maximum indicators up to 36.4 centners per hectare and a yield increase of 1.6 centners over the Volnodon variety. The potential productivity of the variety can reach 6.0 tons per hectare. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 35 to 44 grams, indicating large grain size and high-quality yield.

Melody Dona has good macaron qualities, making it in demand for the production of pasta products. In addition, the variety is resistant to major diseases such as powdery mildew and brown rust, which reduces the risk of crop losses and increases production stability. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is widely used in agronomic practice and recommended for cultivation in various regions.
