OMSKAYA 35

Wheat variety «Omskaya 35» is a spring soft wheat developed by Russian breeders of the Siberian Institute of Agricultural Sciences. This medium-late variety is characterized by a vegetation period of 87-90 days and a 1000-grain weight ranging from 36-39 grams. It features stable development, medium height, and resistance to lodging, ensuring reliability under various climatic conditions.

The «Omskaya 35» variety exhibits good drought resistance and tolerance to certain diseases, including moderate susceptibility to brown rust, while being susceptible to powdery scab, stem rust, powdery mildew, and root rots. Despite this, it demonstrates high yield—reaching 29.9 c/ha in the Kurgan region, significantly exceeding the performance of the Omskaya 18 standard. Grain bread-making qualities vary from satisfactory to good, making the variety in demand for high-quality flour production.

«Omskaya 35» is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Ural and West Siberian regions, as well as the Kurgan region and certain regions of Kazakhstan. The variety is adapted to different soil types and climatic conditions, allowing its use in a wide range of agricultural enterprises to obtain stable and high yields.
