Wheat is one of the most popular cereal crops used in fishing due to its versatility and effectiveness. It combines well with other feed components such as hemp, corn, and tiger nut, making it indispensable for catching carp, silver carp, and crucian carp. Before use, wheat grains are soaked in corn steep liquor, allowing them to fully absorb the liquid and enhance their attractiveness to fish. The remaining liquid should not be discarded, as it serves as an excellent additive for dry feed, pellets, boilies, and stick mixes. The package volume is 1 liter. Additionally, wheat is available in the variety Triticum aestivum L., which is characterized by medium height and high resistance to lodging, drought, major diseases, and frost. This variety is registered in the State Register of Plants of Ukraine and is recommended for cultivation in the Steppe zone. It has high genetic yield potential, and the grain quality meets the requirements for strong wheat. It is recommended to grow this variety after non-cereal predecessors to ensure optimal conditions for obtaining a good harvest. It is worth noting that there is also a wheat-based preparation with the active ingredient lannate (0.25% solution of bromadiolone) intended for rodent control. This preparation is available in the form of grains and is used for eliminating rats and mice in warehouses, utility buildings, and other areas where pests may spread. However, the use of this product is prohibited near water bodies and in conjunction with food products, which must be taken into account when applying it.
