TIMIRYAZYEVSKAYA YUBILEYNAIA

Timiryazyevskaya Yubileynaya is a soft winter wheat variety bred by scientists of the Timiryazev Academy. It is characterized by a medium-early maturity period, which occurs 3–5 days earlier compared to medium-late standards, and a vegetation period ranging from 201 to 297 days. Plants of this variety have an average height of 78–86 cm, are characterized by dwarfism and high resistance to lodging, which helps preserve the crop and facilitates harvesting.

The variety has good winter hardiness, exceeding the average level, as well as drought resistance comparable to regional varieties. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 37 to 48 grams, indicating grain size and quality. Timiryazyevskaya Yubileynaya is distinguished by good baking qualities, high protein and gluten content, making it in demand among agrarians. At the same time, the variety shows moderate resistance to brown rust but is susceptible to powdery mildew and septoria.

This variety is recommended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth region, in particular in the Kursk and Lipetsk regions. The average yield in these regions reaches 61.7 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity. Thanks to the combination of early maturity, resistance to unfavorable conditions, and high technological grain characteristics, Timiryazyevskaya Yubileynaya is a promising choice for agricultural production.
