Description
This variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Lyubskaya and Zhukovskaya. Originator — All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection. Authors: A.F. Kolesnikova, E.N. Dzhigadlo, G.B. Zhdanova, A.V. Zavyalova, T.A. Trofimova. Included in the State Register in 2001 for the Central Chernozem region.
Tree of medium growth vigor, up to 2.5-3.0 m tall, spherical, spreading, elevated crown. Bud 3.0 mm, conical shape, slightly deviated from the shoot. Leaf reverse-egg-shaped or oval, dark green. Apex acute, base narrow-angled, double-toothed margin. Leaf blade surface glossy, wrinkled, curved along the central vein. Stipules 4, located at the base of the leaf and petiole. Petiole length 20 mm, thickness 2.0 mm, anthocyanic coloration. Number of flowers in inflorescence 3. Corolla diameter 22.3 mm, open. Petals white, loosely arranged. Stigma positioned at the same level as the anthers. Stigma length 10.7 mm, anther length 10.5 mm. Calyx shape narrow-bowl-shaped, absence of toothed sepals. Fruits borne on cluster branches, fruiting spurs.
Fruits weighing 3.9-4.5 g, heart-shaped, height 17.7 mm, width 18.0 mm, thickness 14.0 mm. Fruit cavity small, apex slightly elongated. Fruits dark red, flesh dark red, medium density, juicy, juice dark red. Pedicel length 45 mm, medium thickness. Stone egg-shaped, mass 0.2 g, which constitutes 5.8% of fruit mass, cream-colored when fresh. Stone detaches well from flesh. Apex and base rounded.
Fruits attractive in appearance, rated 4.2 points, flesh juicy, sour-sweet, good taste. Sensory evaluation of fresh fruits 4.2 points. Fruits contain dry matter — 14.5%, sugars — 8.8%, acids — 1.64%. Fruit detachment from pedicel medium. Fruits resistant to cracking. Variety of universal use.
Flowering in medium time (May 10-18). Partially self-fertile. Fruit ripening medium — second half of July, simultaneous. Enters fruiting at 4 years. Average yield 64.3 centners per hectare, maximum 104.6 centners per hectare. Longevity of trees high with proper agronomic practices. High winter hardiness of trees and flower buds. Relatively resistant to coccomycosis, moderately resistant to moniliosis.
Variety registered in the Central Chernozem region, suitable for commercial, hobby cultivation, farmsteads, and breeding purposes (winter hardiness, relative resistance to coccomycosis, good fruit quality). Suitable for intensive cultivation.
Advantages: winter hardiness, yield, relative resistance to coccomycosis.
Disadvantages: does not possess high resistance to coccomycosis and moniliosis.
