Description
Mid-early ripening variety, developed at the VNIIS named after I.V. Michurin by crossing the varieties Minay Shmyrev and Brodtorp. Authors: K.D. Sergeeva, T.S. Zvyagina. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the North Caucasus region in 1997.
Medium-height, semi-spreading bush. Growing shoots are medium, slightly curved, light green, glabrous, woody — grayish-golden-brown with a blush on the sun-exposed side; shoot tips yellowish-brown. Terminal bud is free. Buds of medium size, elongated, solitary, sessile, slightly deviated from the shoot, beige in color, leaf scar shape rounded-triangular.
Leaf five-lobed, large, green, glabrous, matte, leathery, slightly wrinkled, blade positioned obliquely downward on the shoot, margin straight. Lobes acuminate, central nearly equal to lateral ones, sometimes with an additional projection. Lateral lobes widely spaced, angle between central veins of lateral lobes obtuse. Basal lobes moderately developed. Leaf base irregularly heart-shaped, with a small notch. Teeth medium-sized, doubly serrated, with clearly defined white "tips". Petiole medium length, medium thickness with anthocyanin coloration along its entire length.
Flowers medium-sized, cup-shaped, with medium expression of the calyx. Sepals reddish, free, curved in a bow shape. Inflorescences medium length (4.5–6.0 cm), cylindrical, solitary or two per node on the shoot, straight. Axis medium and thick, with slight pubescence, without petiole.
Berries large (1.2–1.6 g), round, black, with yellowish dots, glossy, with medium seed count, dry detachment, sweet-tart flavor (4.0 points), versatile use. Receptacle round, medium, closed, peduncle short, straight. Chemical composition: dry matter — 12.5%, sugar sum — 7.9%, titratable acidity — 2.7%, ascorbic acid — 107.9 mg/100 g, P-active substances — 1622.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile, relatively resistant to powdery mildew, suitable for mechanized cultivation, average yield 12.0 t/ha.
Advantages of the variety: high productivity, early bearing.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient resistance to double-flowering.
