Description
Early maturing variety, obtained at the Mountain Horticulture Department of the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko from open pollination of the 'Seyanets Golubki' variety. Authors: L.N. Zabelina, I.P. Kalinina. Since 1995, it has been included in the State Register of varieties approved for use in the Volga-Vyatka region.
Medium-height, compact, upright, sparse bush. Growing shoots are medium-thick, straight, green, without hairs. Woody shoots are brown, without hairs. Buds are medium-sized, egg-shaped, light green, solitary.
Leaves are five-lobed, medium-sized and small, dark green, matte or slightly glossy, without hairs, wrinkled. Leaf margins are uplifted. Lobes are pointed, central lobe elongated, narrow, exceeding lateral ones. Angle between central veins of lateral lobes is straight. Basal lobes are well developed. Leaf base is heart-shaped with deep notch. Teeth are sharp, long, leaf margin is wavy. Petioles are thick, short, green, without anthocyanin, weakly hairy, positioned at an acute angle (45°) to the shoot.
Flowers are medium-sized. Sepals are light green, petals are cream-colored, not fused, slightly bent. Inflorescences are medium-sized (6.0-6.5 cm), contain 5-6 berries, medium density. Pedicels are medium length, green, weakly hairy.
Berries are very large (2.1-2.7 g), round, one-dimensional, black, with waxy coating, containing a large number of light-brown seeds of medium size. Receptacle is small, closed, skin thin. Taste is sweet-sour, pleasant. Chemical composition: soluble dry matter — 9.2-10.5%, total sugars — 6.2-8.0%, titratable acidity — 2.1-3.4%, ascorbic acid — 73.0-207.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy variety, average yield 7.3 t/ha, resistant to powdery mildew and bud mite.
Advantages: very early maturing, dessert flavor of berries, resistance to powdery mildew and bud mite.
Disadvantages: weak growth, high requirement for fertile soil.
