Description
Early-maturing variety, developed at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection through open pollination of the 'Bredtorp' variety. Authors: T.P. Ogol'tsova, L.V. Bayanova. Included in the State Register of Varieties Approved for Use in the Northwest, Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, and Ural regions in 1998.
Strong-growing, moderately dense, medium-spreading bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, curved, weakly hairy, green with anthocyanin-colored tips. Woody parts are medium, curved towards the apex, gray-brown with darker tips, hairless. Buds are small, thin, conical, pointed, pinkish, deviated from the shoots, parallel at the top. Apical bud is non-free, small, leaf scar shape is wedge-shaped.
Leaf five-lobed, medium-sized, intensely green, shiny, soft, wrinkled, concave along the midrib, blade elongated and pointed. Central lobe significantly longer than lateral ones, triangular, narrow and sharp, with weakly expressed additional protrusions. Lateral lobes are sharp, short, upper surfaces lie on the same line, lower surfaces are strongly inclined, angle between lateral lobe veins is straight. Basal lobes are weakly expressed, veins spread out. Leaf base has a small, open, but not wide notch. Teeth are sharp, long, petiole hairy, bluish.
Flowers medium-sized, cup-shaped, sepals pale, free. Inflorescences medium-sized, 5-7 cm, with 6-7 berries, medium density, inflorescence axis medium thickness, straight, hairless, green.
Berries large (1.2 g), round, one-dimensional, black, with moderate seed content, medium skin, sour-sweet flavor (4.2 points), universal use. Receptacle closed, pedicel thin, medium, green, hairless. Chemical composition: dry matter - 13.5%, total sugars - 7.6%, titratable acidity - 3.5%, ascorbic acid - 109.6 mg/100 g, anthocyanins - 192.2 mg/100 g, leucoanthocyanins - 232.0 mg/100 g, catechins - 339.0 mg/100 g, total P-active substances - 763.2 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile (55%), with high field resistance to major diseases and bud mites, suitable for mechanized harvesting, average yield 6.9 t/ha (1.0 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: comprehensive field resistance to diseases and bud mites, high technological suitability.
Disadvantages of the variety: relatively spreading bush under fruit load.
