Description
Medium-ripening variety, developed at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection from a cross between the varieties Ershistaya and Minay Shmyrev. Breeders: T.P. Ogoltsova, L.V. Bayanova, S.D. Knyazev. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, and Middle Volga regions in 1998.
Strong-growing, weakly spreading, medium-density bush. Growing shoots are medium thickness, shiny, hairless, uncolored. Woody stems are medium thickness, gray-brown, hairless, with medium-length internodes. Buds are medium size, egg-shaped with a pointed apex, slightly asymmetric, pink-purple in color, arranged parallel to the shoot, with a slightly deviated apex and tightly attached base. Terminal bud is non-free; leaf scar shape is wedge-shaped or rounded-wedge-shaped.
Leaf five-lobed, medium-sized, green, shiny, flat, broad, slightly fringed, wrinkled. Central lobe is triangular with a sharp apex and small additional projections. Side lobes are short, sharp, with acute or straight angles between veins; indentations are small and blunt; upper sides of side lobes are aligned or angled; lower sides are nearly vertical. Basal lobes are weakly expressed, veins are spread out. Leaf base has a wide, open, small or nearly flat notch. Teeth are very small and sharp. Petiole is colored, slightly hairy.
Flowers are large, brightly colored, with medium-colored calyx. Inflorescence is short, slightly curved, green, loose, containing 6-10 flowers.
Berries are medium-sized (1.0 g), oval, one-dimensional, black, shiny, with dense, elastic skin; flavor is sour-sweet (4.4 points), aromatic; intended for general use. Calyx is half-open; pedicel is medium, thin, green. Chemical composition: soluble solids — 12.8%, total sugars — 8.4%, titratable acidity — 3.0%, ascorbic acid — 217.1 mg/100 g, anthocyanins — 97.6 mg/100 g, leucoanthocyanins — 295.7 mg/100 g, catechins — 300.0 mg/100 g, total P-active substances — 693.4 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile (68%), with high field resistance to powdery mildew and bud mite; moderately affected by anthracnose and septoria; suitable for mechanized harvest; average yield 8.7 t/ha (1.1 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: high stable yield, technological suitability.
Disadvantages of the variety: slightly delayed berry ripening.
