Description
Early maturing variety, developed at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Plant Genetics and Breeding named after I.V. Michurin from crossing the form (Primorsky Champion x Sanders) and the variety Zelenoplodnaya. Authors: I.A. Tolmachev, I.G. Tyukov, A.G. Smirnov, V.F. Khinin. Included in the State Register of Varieties Approved for Use in the Central Black Earth Region in 1995.
Medium-sized, compact, dense bush. Growing branches are medium, straight, anthocyanin-colored, shiny. Buds are egg-shaped, solitary, sit on a very short stem, mostly strongly deviated from the branch, leaf scar shape narrow.
Leaf five-lobed, medium or large, green, slightly yellowish with a gloss, slightly wrinkled, leaf blade deeply incised, concave, directed downward, sometimes nearly parallel to the branch, leaf margin slightly wavy. Lobes are pointed, the central lobe is longer than the lateral ones, with well-defined, often asymmetric additional projections. Lateral lobes are medium, upper sides are quite close to the central vein, angle between their veins is straight or obtuse. Basal lobes are well-defined. Leaf base is heart-shaped with a shallow or deep, open notch. Teeth are medium in width and depth. Petiole is long, medium thickness, unevenly colored, hairy.
Flowers are medium-sized, bell-shaped, calyx lobes are reddish, not fused, slightly bent. Inflorescences are medium length (6.0 cm), dense, hanging, with hairy long petioles.
Berries are large (1.1 g), round, black, matte, with medium number of seeds, sour-sweet flavor (4.1 points). Receptacle is round, medium, open, peduncle is medium length, curved. Chemical composition of berries: dry matter - 12.8%, total sugars - 8.5%, titratable acidity - 2.7%, ascorbic acid - 110 mg/100 g, P-active substances - 579 mg/100 g, pectic substances (dry weight) - 0.4%.
Cold-resistant, self-fertile, resistant to fungal diseases, average yield is 12.5 t/ha (3.7 kg/plant).
