Description
Medium-ripening variety, obtained at Buryat PIAOS (now Buryat Research Institute of Horticulture) from crossing the varieties Pamyat Lisavenko and Zabaykalochka. Breeders: T.I. Voronina, N.K. Guseva, O.N. Zorkolytseva, D.A. Markova. Included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the East Siberian region in 2006.
Bush is strong-growing, medium-spreading. Stems are medium-length, straight, light-green, rough, hairy, with shortened internodes.
Leaf is five-lobed, medium-sized, dark green. Leaf blade is medium-hairy, glossy, leathery, wrinkled, straight, slightly concave at the tip of the shoot. Lobes are acute with deep notches. Middle lobe is bent downward, basal lobes are asymmetrical. Teeth are blunt, short, curled. Base of leaf has a deep notch.
Flowers are medium-sized, pale-colored, buds are pinkish. Stamens are located at the level of the pistil. Fruit cluster is long (8-10 cm), contains 8-12 berries. Cluster axis is medium-length, straight, hairy.
Berries are large (1.1-1.9 g), round, black, glossy, with a small groove, sweet taste, aromatic (4.8 points), universal use. Berries ripen simultaneously, detach dry, transportability is high. Berry stalk is medium, green, fleshy. Calyx is closed. Chemical composition: dry soluble substances — 12.8-14.1%, total sugars — 8.7-10.8%, titratable acidity — 1.5-1.8%, ascorbic acid — 99.8194.1 mg/100 g, polyphenolic compounds — 221.0-501.0 mg/100 g, soluble pectin — 0.5-0.7%.
Variety is highly winter-hardy, high-yielding, average yield 8.0 t/ha, maximum — 10.7 t/ha at 4-6 years of age under planting scheme 3.0 x 1.5 m, highly self-fertile (57-80%). Resistance to powdery mildew and bud mite is high. Easily propagated by hardwood cuttings and layering.
Advantages of the variety: high yield and winter hardiness, dessert taste of berries, resistance to bud mite.
Disadvantages of the variety: medium resistance to drought.
