By combining two distinct active ingredients—epoxiconazole and thiophanate-methyl—it provides a robust systemic defense that halts fungal pathogens in their tracks.
One thing I appreciate as an operator is how user-friendly this formulation is. The suspension concentrate mixes easily into the tank, shows great compatibility, and doesn't clog nozzles during spraying. We primarily use it to combat root rots, helminthosporiosis, and various leaf spots. In barley, it has been particularly effective against net blotch.
Efficiency is key, and Rex Duo offers a long-lasting protective effect. Because of its systemic action, it is absorbed quickly and translocated through the plant tissue, protecting new growth even after application. This longevity is crucial for grain filling, ensuring that the crop reaches its full yield potential without being hindered by late-season fungal development. While it falls under the 3rd hazard class requiring standard protective gear, the reliability of the disease control makes it a highly effective tool for any intensive farming setup.
