Description
The ARYUNA variety differs in high yield and is adapted to various agro-ecological conditions, including northern, northwestern, southeastern, and southwestern areas of the Voronezh region, and is recommended for cultivation in the Amur region. Average yield in the Far Eastern region reaches 25 c/ha, exceeding the average standard by 2.6 c/ha. The variety is more resistant to lodging compared to standards, and also has enhanced drought resistance and effectively uses rainfall in the second half of summer.
Grain quality of the ARYUNA variety is high: protein content is about 14.1%, gluten - 32%, flour strength reaches 298.8-340 units, and bread volume from 100 grams of flour varies from 623 to 1200 ml. Overall baking assessment is in the range of 4.3-4.9, which classifies the variety among strong wheats. The variety is resistant to powdery mildew and hard bunt, moderately resistant to brown rust, but requires mandatory seed treatment due to insufficient resistance to powdery bunt. ARYUNA is intended for obtaining high yield and quality grain, making it attractive for agricultural production.
