Wheat variety Bread Ariev is one of the best winter varieties in terms of bread-making qualities. It is a strawless variety developed by the Odessa Selection Private Institute, distinguished by immunity to major diseases and capable of yielding high harvests even under risky farming conditions, whether on good or moderate agrofond. The variety is intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polesie regions.
The vegetative period of the variety ranges from 257 to 265 days, and plant height varies from 72.3 to 88.8 cm. Protein content in the grain ranges from 13.2–13.4%, indicating high quality raw material for the bread-making industry. The variety exhibits high resistance to lodging and shattering, rated 8–9 points, ensuring harvest retention and facilitating harvesting.
