Description
Soft winter wheat of the Cavalierka variety is a medium-maturing variety with short stems and plant heights ranging from 81 to 102 cm. The plants are characterized by an intermediate bush form and high resistance to lodging, which ensures crop stability. The ear is cylindrical, of medium density, 10.5-12 cm in length, with long awn-like appendages in the upper two-thirds. The grain is large, egg-shaped, red in color, with a hairy base and a shallow furrow, which contributes to high-quality flour and bakery products. The Cavalierka variety is distinguished by high yields, reaching more than 100 centners per hectare with a potential of up to 113.2 centners per hectare, and stability under various climatic conditions. It has high winter hardiness and drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in various regions. The wheat forms grain with excellent milling and baking qualities, meeting the requirements for strong varieties, which allows its use for the production of bread, groats, and other food products. Cavalierka demonstrates resistance to major diseases such as yellow and brown rust, powdery mildew, as well as medium resistance to stem rust and Fusarium head blight. The frost resistance of the variety is high, which further increases its adaptability. It is recommended for cultivation in various regions with optimal sowing dates and sowing rates of about 4 million viable seeds per hectare, which ensures efficient use of agrotechnical measures and the production of high-quality crops.
