EN TITAN

Soft wheat winter EN TITAN® is an intensive short-stemmed variety developed at the Selection and Primary Seed Center of LLC «Ekoniva» in the Kursk region. It is intended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem zone and is characterized by stable development, high adaptability to various climatic conditions, and resistance to diseases. The variety is characterized by intense tillering, the ability to form more than 800 productive stems per square meter, which contributes to a high yield.

The unique feature of the EN TITAN variety is its high resistance to late spring frosts, drought tolerance, as well as high winter hardiness and frost resistance. It also exhibits resistance to lodging, shattering, and grain sprouting in the ear, ensuring crop preservation and grain quality even under adverse weather conditions. The potential yield of the variety reaches 130 centners per hectare, with a maximum realized figure in varietal trials in 2023 at 127.5 centners per hectare.

EN TITAN belongs to valuable wheat varieties, the main purpose of which is bakery production. The grain of the variety contains 14.25% protein and 26.7% gluten, which ensures high quality flour and baked goods. Due to its characteristics and resistance to stress factors, this variety is a reliable choice for agricultural enterprises seeking to obtain a high and stable yield of soft winter wheat.
