IDELLE

Idelle is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), mid-season with a vegetation period of 76-85 days. It was created by individual selection from the hybrid combination (Amar x Omskaya 32) x Omskaya 33 and included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements with permission for the Middle Volga region. It is recommended for cultivation in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Penza region, where it demonstrates high adaptability and stable yield. The maximum yield of the variety reached 57.6 c/ha, which confirms its high productivity under favorable conditions.

The plant is medium-height with a semi-upright bush and weakly compacted straw. The spike is cylindrical, of medium density, white in color with short awn-like appendages. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 32 to 39 grams. The variety has lodging resistance at the level of standard varieties, moderate resistance to brown rust, as well as increased drought resistance compared to the Kinel Niva variety. The grain is characterized by excellent milling and baking qualities, which makes the variety valuable for the baking industry.

Idelle is distinguished by good resistance to grain germination at the roots and in combines, which contributes to preserving the quality of the harvest under unfavorable weather conditions. The variety ripens simultaneously or 1-2 days earlier compared to the Kinel Niva and Simbirtsit varieties, which allows for effective planning of harvesting operations. Due to the combination of high yield, adaptive potential, and excellent baking properties, Idelle is a promising choice for agricultural producers in the Middle Volga region.
