KALACH 60

KALACH 60 is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), developed at the Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture in Southern Russia. This medium-early variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, drought resistance, and plasticity, ensuring stable and high yield. The wheat ear is white, cylindrical in shape with uniform density throughout its length, non-hairy, and has red, semi-long grain. The variety features high productive tillering and high grain-filled ear density, which contributes to increased grain output.

KALACH 60 is recommended for cultivation in various agronomic conditions, including the Northern Left-Bank and Northern Right-Bank zones of the Saratov region, as well as the Volgograd region. It adapts well to different soil types and is distinguished by high disease resistance, which reduces the need for fertilizer use. The average yield in the region is about 20.3 centners per hectare, making this variety economically beneficial for agricultural production.

Furthermore, the KALACH 60 variety possesses excellent baking qualities, making it valuable for producing high-quality flour and bakery products.
