KANSKAYA

KANSKAYA is an overwinter wheat of the Lutescens variety, semi-intensive type, intended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. The variety is characterized by a potential yield of up to 10 tons per hectare and a growing period of about 275 days. Stem height reaches 100 cm, and ear length is 10.5 cm. The mass of 1000 seeds is 43 grams, and natural purity is 830 g/l. The recommended sowing density varies from 4.5 to 5 million seeds per hectare, which ensures optimal plant development and high productivity.

KANSKAYA wheat is distinguished by its high protein content — up to 14%, and gluten — up to 30%, which ensures excellent baking properties with a score of 8.5 points and bread volume up to 700 ml. The variety has good resistance to lodging (8.3 points), drought (8.0 points), as well as winter hardiness at a level of 7.0-8.0 points. Thanks to these characteristics, wheat is well adapted to modern intensive cultivation technologies and suitable for food production.

Special attention is paid to the variety's resistance to pathogens and pests: high resistance to loose and hard smut (8.5 and 9.0 points, respectively), powdery mildew (8.3), brown and yellow rust (8.0 and 9.0), as well as leaf septoria (8.3). These qualities significantly facilitate crop care and contribute to the stable receipt of high yields. Sowing is recommended on fallow and non-fallow predecessors, such as peas, soy, chickpeas, early corn, and sunflower.
