KS FORWARD

KS FORWARD is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) characterized by medium maturity and good adaptability to various climatic conditions. It is recommended for cultivation in the South Forest-steppe and Pre-Urals Steppe zones, specifically in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Ural region. The variety demonstrates medium drought resistance and resistance to lodging, ensuring yield stability even under unfavorable weather conditions. The mass of 1000 grains is 33-38 grams, and the ear has a cylindrical shape of medium density with colored grain. KS FORWARD has good baking qualities, acting as a quality filler. Disease resistance varies: high resistance to brown rust, moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew and septoria, and medium resistance to powdery bunt. The stem is weakly expressed, with a strong waxy bloom on the upper internode and sheath of the flag leaf, which additionally contributes to plant resistance. The average yield of the variety in various regions ranges from 23.7 to 29.2 centners per hectare, confirming its productivity and economic efficiency.
