Description
Soft wheat spring KURSKAYA 2038® is a mid-season, high-yielding intensive-type variety developed by the All-Russian Research Institute of Agro-Industrial Complex. This variety is characterized by short stems and high grain quality, making it in demand for flour, bread, pasta, and wheat beer production. Due to its characteristics, KURSKAYA 2038 is widely used in agriculture both for food purposes and in feed production.
The variety is resistant to a number of diseases, including brown and yellow rust, powdery mildew, septoria, and fusarium of the ear, which contributes to stable yields and reduced losses during cultivation. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 37 to 46 grams, indicating good quality and density of the grain. The average yield in the Central region reaches 38.1 centners per hectare, confirming the high productivity of the variety.
For optimal cultivation, a sowing rate of 380-400 pieces per square meter is recommended, as well as the application of nitrogen fertilizers in the amount of 50-60 kg per hectare at sowing and 30-40 kg per hectare at the stem elongation stage. These agrotechnical measures contribute to the maximum realization of the variety's potential and ensure a stable and high yield.
