Winter wheat KWS Emil is a medium-late, high-yielding variety of class B, developed by European breeding. This variety is characterized by very high winter hardiness, ensuring reliable winter survival and stable yields under various climatic conditions. Emil is low-growing and highly resistant to lodging, which helps preserve grain quality and simplifies harvest. The 1000-grain weight of this variety is high, positively affecting flour yield and other technological characteristics.

The variety exhibits high resistance to major wheat diseases, including brown rust, yellow rust, powdery mildew, fusarium, and lodging. This makes it a reliable choice for cultivation in areas with a higher risk of disease. The yield potential of the Emil variety ranges from 7 to 10 tons per hectare, confirmed by field trials across various agroclimatic zones such as steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia.

The optimal sowing period for KWS Emil is from September 10 to 25, at a seeding rate of 3.0–3.5 million seeds per hectare or 370–470 germinating seeds per square meter. The recommended sowing depth is 3–4 cm. The variety shows high drought resistance (9–10 points on the resistance scale), enabling successful cultivation under conditions of insufficient moisture. Packaging is done in 50 kg bags, which is convenient for transport and storage.
