Mironivska 808

Mironovska 808 is a soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety characterized by medium maturity with a vegetation period of approximately 260-310 days. Plants reach a height of 75-85 cm, have large cylindrical ears 10-12 cm long with medium density and 24 spikelets per 10 cm of rachis. Grain is oval-shaped, large, with a 1000-grain weight ranging from 38 to 50 g, colored red, and belongs to the group of strong wheats. Leaves are green, large, with distinct waxy coating, without hairs, which contributes to resistance against adverse conditions. The stem is hollow, thick, and strong, with a semi-erect habit, also covered with waxy coating.

The variety exhibits high winter hardiness and cold resistance, as well as enhanced drought tolerance and heat resistance, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. Mironovska 808 has comprehensive resistance to all major diseases of winter wheat, including moderate infection by brown rust. Thanks to its record-breaking resistance to lodging, the variety can maintain yields up to 10 tons per hectare without shattering or root rot, significantly enhancing its production reliability.

Mironovska 808 is recommended for more than 70 regions, republics, and territories of Russia, including the Northwestern, Central, Volgo-Vyat, Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and West Siberian regions. It is a high-yielding and adaptable variety with yields up to 86.2 centners per hectare, confirming its intensive usage potential. The grain has good baking qualities, making this variety popular for producing high-quality flour and bakery products.
