Description
PARITET is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of medium-early maturity, characterized by high productivity and resistance to adverse factors. Plants of this variety are tall, with heights ranging from 69 to 96 cm, possess lodging resistance, do not shed grain prematurely, and do not sprout on the root. The vegetative period lasts from 221 to 298 days, which is close to the maturity time of the standard Don 93. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and frost resistance, as well as drought resistance at the level of benchmark varieties, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.
PARITET was created using intraspecific hybridization and targeted selection, which allowed obtaining a complex of valuable economic and biological traits. It is resistant to brown rust, moderately resistant to powdery mildew, and also shows resistance to other diseases, including yellow rust and loose smut. The grain of the variety has good baking qualities and meets the requirements for strong wheats. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 35 to 44 grams, the grain is colored, indicating high quality of the raw material.
The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Right-Bank zone on ordinary and southern chernozems, as well as on light chestnut and brown soils of Volgograd Region and the Republic of Kalmykia. Average yield in the Lower Volga region reaches 22.0 c/ha, while in individual trials yield reached up to 48.1 c/ha. PARITET demonstrates a stable increase over standard varieties, confirming its high productivity and adaptability to growing conditions.
