PRIMORSKAYA 39

Soft spring wheat variety Primorskaya 39 is a mid-early variety of the lutescens type, created by transforming the winter variety Ilyichevka into a spring form followed by individual selection. The vegetative period is 93-95 days, which is several days less compared to the Primorskaya 21 variety. The ears of this variety are white, awnless, prism-shaped of medium length and density. The grain is red, round, vitreous or semi-vitreous with a medium crease, and the mass of 1000 grains varies from 30 to 34 grams. The bushes are intermediate, the straw is hollow, of medium thickness and height (83-104 cm), which ensures high resistance to lodging, significantly exceeding other adapted varieties.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to grain shattering and powdery bunt, as well as medium susceptibility to stem and brown rust and Fusarium head blight. Protein content in the grain ranges from 13.0-15.9%, gluten exceeds 36%, and flour strength is 300-380 units of the amylograph. These indicators ensure high flour quality and baking properties, with an overall rating of about 4.6 points. The average yield of the variety is 28-32 centners per hectare, with a potential yield of up to 45-50 centners per hectare.

Primorskaya 39 has an erect bush with hollow straw and a flag leaf covered with weak pubescence and a waxy blue bloom. The ear is cylindrical, of medium density, with a straight and wide shoulder, and the awn is short and straight. The variety is adapted and recommended for cultivation in the Far Eastern region, where it demonstrates stable yield indicators and resistance to major diseases. Due to its characteristics, Primorskaya 39 is a reliable choice for agricultural production, ensuring high grain quality and stable yields.
