Winter wheat "Sistema," developed by Shchelkovo Agrokhim, is an intensive variety engineered for high-input farming systems aiming for peak yield potential. The primary focus in breeding "Sistema" was to minimize the impact of biotic stressors and reduce reliance on repeated fungicide applications. The variety provides a robust biological shield against the following threats:

• Rust Complex: Significant resistance to brown rust, yellow rust, and stem rust ensures the maintenance of a healthy flag leaf, which is vital for grain filling.
• Fungal Pathogens: High tolerance to septoria leaf blotch and powdery mildew protects the crop during humid conditions, preserving photosynthetic efficiency.
• Fusarium Head Blight (FHB): Built-in resistance to fusarium helps mitigate the risk of mycotoxin contamination, ensuring premium grain quality.
