Zlatohlava

The winter wheat variety Zlatogлавa, developed by LLC 'List' and included in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2011, is a medium-early and intensive type variety with a vegetation period of 280-285 days. Plants are medium-height, 80-100 cm tall, with a 1000-grain weight of 42-44 g. The potential yield of this variety reaches 90-105 centners per hectare, making it attractive for cultivation in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine.

Zlatogлавa is distinguished by high bread-making qualities and versatile use of grain. The variety exhibits high resistance to lodging (7-8 points), shattering, as well as to several diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, root rots, septoria, and fusarium of the ear. In addition, the variety demonstrates high winter hardiness and drought tolerance (8-9 points), ensuring stable yields under adverse climatic conditions.

The recommended seeding rate is 5.0-5.5 million seeds per hectare. Due to its characteristics, the Zlatogлавa variety is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality wheat yields in steppe and forest-steppe regions.
