Description
Hard winter wheat ZOLOTKO® is a medium-early variety of durum wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) intended for agronomic cultivation. The vegetative period ranges from 217 to 276 days, allowing the variety to mature at a time close to the variety Leukorum 21. The plant is characterized by a short average height of 72 to 95 cm, lodging resistance, and an intermediate semi-prostrate bush type. The ear is white, cylindrical, medium length, and dense, with white awns equal to the ear length at the top. The kernel is elongated with an absent or very short awn. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, exceeding the Leukorum 21 variety by 0.5-1.0 points per year of trait manifestation, as well as drought resistance at the level of the standard Prikumskaya 124. The mass of 1000 kernels varies from 41 to 49 grams. Wheat ZOLOTKO® possesses high resistance to yellow rust, as well as resistance to brown rust, septoria, and powdery mildew. At the same time, the variety is weakly susceptible to fusarium head blight, moderately susceptible to stem rust, and susceptible to fusarium of the ear. In the Republic of Adygea, the average yield is about 49 c/ha, with a maximum registered yield of 85 c/ha, which confirms the high productivity of the variety. The pasta qualities of wheat ZOLOTKO® are considered quite satisfactory. This wheat variety is used primarily as seed material for sowing, ensuring high yield and product quality corresponding to agricultural standards. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and disease resistance, wheat ZOLOTKO® is a reliable choice for farmers seeking to obtain a stable and high-quality crop of hard winter wheat.
