Description
Medium-ripening variety, developed at the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavensky by crossing the varieties Lepaan Musta and Seyanets Golubki. Authors: Z.S. Zotova, I.P. Kalinina, N.I. Nazaryuk, M.A. Pershina, I.L. Teslya. Under state variety trials since 2003.
The bush is well-developed and compact. Growing shoots are medium-thick, straight, green, woody stems are dark-brown and glossy. Buds are medium-sized, pointed (apical buds are non-free), elongated, brown, slightly bent, solitary.
Leaves are three- or five-lobed, large to medium-sized, bright green, glossy, without hairs, wrinkled, with prominent veins on upper leaves, leathery. Leaf blade is convex. Middle lobes are of medium width, with additional protrusions. Side lobes are directed sideways or slightly downward, the angle between the midribs of side lobes is obtuse. Basal lobes are well-developed, their veins spread out or directed toward the petiole. Leaf base has a notch formed by overlapping leaf margins. Teeth are large, sharp, with "tips". Petiole is medium in length and thickness, slightly hairy, green, slightly colored at edges, bent at 45° angle.
Flowers are large, cup-shaped, calyx lobes are light-pink, not fused, strongly bent. Inflorescences are medium length, dense, hanging. Axis is thick and green.
Berries are very large (1.7-3.8 g), round, black, ripening simultaneously, with moderate seed count, dry detachment, sour-sweet taste (4.5 points), versatile use, transportable. Pedicel is medium length, calyx is closed. Chemical composition: dry solids — 11.3-15.1%; total sugars — 6.3-8.5%; titratable acidity — 2.5-3.2%; ascorbic acid — 86.5-125.4 mg/100 g; pectin substances (on fresh weight) — 0.9-2.2%.
The variety is winter-hardy, drought-tolerant, self-fertile, early-bearing, average yield 10.6 t/ha (3.2 kg/plant), maximum 13.3 t/ha, exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew and rust, very slightly damaged by aphids and bud mites (0.1-1.0 points).
Advantages of the variety: high yield, self-fertility, early-bearing, large fruit size, high resistance to powdery mildew and rust.
Disadvantages of the variety: slightly damaged by bud mites.
