Description
Medium-ripening variety, obtained in the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko in 1963 by selection among seedlings from open pollination of the 'Krasnyy Krest' variety. Authors: N.V. Danilina, Z.S. Zotova, O.P. Elkina, N.I. Kravtseva, M.A. Pershina. Since 2000, included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements approved for use in the Volga Region.
Medium-height, semi-spreading, moderately dense bush. Stems thick, straight, brown, tips reddish-purple, hairy, matte, woody stems light gray. Buds single, egg-shaped, small, pointed, brown, without hairs, pressed, apical — non-free.
Leaf five-lobed, large and medium-sized, bright green, matte, wrinkled, tender, hairiness on the underside of the leaf is weak. Leaf blade slightly concave, with anthocyanic 'tan' at the stem tip. Teeth long, blunt, rounded. Leaf blade tips sharp. Leaf lobes with deep indentations. Side lobes broad, directed sideways or toward the leaf tip. Angle between midribs of side lobes blunt. Basal lobes well-developed, midribs spread or directed toward the petiole. Base of leaf with open indentation of medium depth. Petiole long, medium thickness, without hairs, green, with purplish edges, directed at acute angle.
Flowers medium-sized, dish-shaped. Sepals yellowish. Stigma at the level of stamens. Inflorescences medium-length, dense, hanging. Inflorescence axis thin, light green, curved.
Berries medium-sized (0.6-1.5 g), round, pale-yellow, translucent, skin thin, dry detachment, few seeds. Ripening simultaneous, transportability weak. Flavor sour-sweet (5 points), refreshing, tender. Berry stalk short. Chemical composition: dry matter — 12.0%; total sugars — 9.2%; titratable acidity — 2.3%; ascorbic acid — 28.8-46.9 mg/100 g; pectin substances — 0.7%.
Medium-winter-hardy and drought-tolerant, high-yielding, average yield is 13.6 t/ha (4.1 kg/plant), maximum — 16.0 t/ha, characterized by good self-fertility. Highly resistant to powdery mildew. Susceptible to septoria in low degree, anthracnose in medium degree.
Advantages of the variety: high annual yield, high resistance to powdery mildew, self-fertility.
Disadvantages of the variety: susceptible to anthracnose in medium degree.
