Description
Early-maturing variety, developed at the South Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Growing through open pollination of the 'Fayya Plodorodnaya' variety. Breeders: V.S. Ilyin and A.P. Gubenko. Since 2000, it has been included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements approved for use in the West Siberian region.
Medium-height, moderately spreading, dense bush. Growing stems are medium in thickness, slightly curved, light green, hairless.
Leaves are five-lobed, medium-sized, dark green and green, shiny, leathery, wrinkled. Leaf blade is concave along the central veins of the lobes. Lobes have central notches, are pointed, with the central lobe exceeding the lateral ones. The angle between the central veins of lateral lobes is straight, lateral lobes are widely spaced. Basal lobes are well-developed. Leaf base has a deep or medium-depth notch, teeth are sharp, medium-length, not curled.
Flowers are small, pale-colored, plate-shaped. Sepals are short, wide, not fused, slightly bent, yellowish. Inflorescences are medium length (up to 9 cm), berries are arranged medium in the inflorescence. Axis is medium or even thin, straight, hairless. Petiole is medium in length.
Berries are medium or large (0.5-1.2 g), one-dimensional, round, red, with a small number of seeds. Taste is sweet and slightly sour-sweet, dessert-like, rated 5 points. Calyx is round, open, peduncle is medium length, thin.
Frost-resistant, high-yielding, average multi-year yield is 7.0 t/ha, maximum 16.8 t/ha (2.1-5.0 kg/plant), self-fertile (46.5%), resistant to powdery mildew, fruit borers, and fruit rot.
Advantages of the variety: resistance to diseases and pests, good yield and frost resistance, dessert-like berry taste.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient berry size.
