Description
Medium-early maturing variety, obtained at the South-Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Growing from open pollination of the Chulkovskaya variety. Author: V.S. Ilyin. Since 2004, it has been included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements approved for use in the Ural region.
Medium-height, moderately spreading, dense bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, light green with a faint matte-pink coating, slightly curved. Buds of medium or even small size, egg-shaped with a sharp tip, gray-brown, sessile or slightly deviated from the shoot. Petiole trace narrow and rounded.
Leaf five-lobed, large, green, slightly shiny, wrinkled, blade concave along the central veins. Lobes pointed, with intermediate notches, central lobe exceeds lateral ones. Angle between central veins of lateral lobes is acute, lateral lobes widely spaced. Basal lobes poorly developed. Leaf base with a rounded notch of medium depth. Teeth sharp, long, slightly bent. Petiole of medium length and thickness, hairless, pale pink, matte.
Flowers of medium size, dish-shaped, calyx lobes yellow-green, reflexed. Inflorescences medium (5-8 cm), medium density. Axis thin, green, moderately hairy, with slight brownish "tan". Petiole thin, medium length, dark green, brownish.
Berries medium (0.6-1.1 g), single-ribbed, round, yellow, medium seed count, sweet and slightly sour taste, rating 5 points. Berries of universal use. Calyx small, rounded, closed, pedicel of medium length, thin.
Cold-hardy, high-yielding, average multi-year yield is 8.7 t/ha, maximum — 20.0 t/ha (2.6-6.1 kg/plant), self-fertile, resistant to powdery mildew, weakly affected by anthracnose.
Advantages of the variety: high cold hardiness, yield, dessert taste of berries, resistance to powdery mildew.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient berry size.
