Description
Medium-ripening variety, developed at the Southern Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Growing by crossing the varieties Chulkovskaya and Fayya Plodorodnaya. Breeders: A.P. Gubenko, V.S. Ilin. Since 1996, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Ural region.
Medium-height, loosely branched bush. Medium-length, unbranched, green stems.
Three-lobed leaf, medium size, green. Leaf blade smooth, leathery, concave. Leaf teeth blunt, not curled. Leaf base with a medium indentation.
Small flowers with pale coloring. Long racemes, berries arranged medium. Raceme axis medium.
Berries medium (0.6-1.0 g), round, red, thin-skinned, tart-sweet (rating 4.5 points), versatile use. Chemical composition: dry matter — 13.3%, titratable acidity — 2.4%, ascorbic acid — 18.8 mg/100 g.
Cold-resistant, high-yielding, average multi-year yield 5.0 t/ha, resistant to powdery mildew and pests.
Advantages of the variety: high cold resistance.
Disadvantages of the variety: berries are not sufficiently large.
