Description
Medium-early maturing variety, obtained at the Far Eastern Research Institute of Horticulture from self-pollination of the variety 'Buraia Dalnevostochnaya'. Author: A.S. Vavilov. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Far East region in 1995.
Medium-height bush, semi-erect, dense. Growing shoots of medium thickness, without hairs, light-brown.
Leaf five-lobed, dark green, slightly shiny, wrinkled. Lobes pointed, widely spaced, central lobe slightly exceeds lateral ones, angle between central veins of lateral lobes nearly straight. Basal lobes poorly developed. Leaf base heart-shaped with a small notch. Teeth of medium size, large, nearly blunt. Petiole of medium length, thin, slightly reddish. Buds of medium size, oval-pointed, pressed against the shoot, leaf scar shape triangular.
Flowers medium-sized, pale, dish-shaped, sepals yellowish, slightly hairy, reflexed. Inflorescences of medium length (up to 6 cm), medium density, hanging, axis thin, petiole without hairs, short.
Berries large (1.1 g), one-dimensional, round, black, tart-sweet taste (4.4 points), versatile use. Receptacle round, small, pedicel of medium or short length. Chemical composition: dry matter — 17.0%, total sugars — 8.7%, titratable acidity — 2.9%, ascorbic acid — 204.1 mg/100 g, catechins — 126.0 mg/100 g, pectic substances (on dry weight) — 9.2%.
Winter-hardy variety, self-fertile, moderately resistant to powdery mildew, weakly affected by anthracnose and septoria, productive (3-4 kg/bush).
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, large berries, good taste, resistance to anthracnose and septoria.
Disadvantages of the variety: affected by powdery mildew in some years.
