Description
Mid-season ripening variety, obtained at VSTISP from the hybrid foundation of N.K. Smolyaninova, origin unknown (seed from open pollination of cultivated varieties). Authors: N.K. Smolyaninova, V.M. Litvinova. Since 2007, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Central Region.
Medium-height, slightly spreading, dense bush. Non-woody stems of medium thickness, green with a brown-red tint, hairless, straight. Woody stems thick, gray-brown. Buds solitary, on short stems, large, egg-shaped, blunt, gray-brown, hairless, deviated from the stem. Apical bud non-free. Leaf scars arcuate.
Leaf three- to five-lobed, medium, green, dense, matte, hairless. Leaf blade concave along the central vein, margins curled upward. Central lobe longer than lateral ones, sharp. Lateral lobes small, sharp, angle between lateral lobe veins straight. Basal lobes undeveloped. Leaf blade margins have medium, blunt teeth, without distinct 'tip'. Base with a small, heart-shaped notch. Petiole long, medium thickness, green with a pinkish tint.
Flowers medium size, dish-shaped, green calyx tube. Sepals yellow-green with pink stripes, touching each other. Inflorescences medium (8-9 cm with petiole), medium density. Axis medium thickness, hairless, petiole short. Pedicel short, thin, green, hairless.
Berries medium (average weight 0.6 g, maximum 0.8 g), one-dimensional, round, white, striped, dry detachment. Seeds small, medium quantity. Flavor sweet-sour, delicate, no aroma (4.0 points). Berries for universal use. Calyx medium, does not fall off, closed. Chemical composition: total sugars — 6.8%, titratable acidity — 2.2%, ascorbic acid — 41.9 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy variety, yield 13.4 t/ha (5.2 kg/plant), characterized by high self-fertility, field resistance to pests and pathogens.
Advantages of the variety: high yield, dessert-like berry flavor.
Disadvantages of the variety: dense bush form.
