ANFISA — a soft winter wheat variety (Triticum aestivum L.), characterized by medium maturity and medium plant height. Plants reach a height of 76-98 cm, have semi-erect or intermediate stems, and the ear differs in pyramidal or cylindrical shape with loose or medium density. The grain is large, red or colored, elongated or egg-shaped with a pronounced or long awn. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 34 to 54 g, indicating the formation of large and high-quality grain. The vegetative period ranges from 232 to 312 days, allowing the variety to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions. The ANFISA variety has high winter hardiness (94–99 %) and lodging resistance, ensuring crop stability in adverse weather conditions. It demonstrates high resistance to powdery mildew and moderate resistance to brown rust, snow mold, and septoria. Drought resistance is above average, making it suitable for cultivation in the Central, Volga-Vyatka, and North Caucasus regions, as well as in Kaluga, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula oblasts, and the Udmurt Republic. Average yield in various regions reaches 46.5-48.9 c/ha, with maximum indicators up to 86 c/ha under favorable conditions. ANFISA is distinguished by good baking qualities: grain natural density is 772-801 g/L, vitreousness is about 70 %, raw gluten content in flour is 30-34 %, flour strength is 216-232 units, and volumetric loaf yield reaches 970-1080 cm³. The overall assessment of baking qualities ranges from 4.8 to 5.0 points, confirming the high quality of flour and bread from this variety. The variety is suitable for intensive cultivation technologies, which allows obtaining stable and high yields with the correct agro-technical approach.
