ANFEYA

ANFEYA is a soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety developed for cultivation under the harsh Far Eastern climate. This medium-maturity variety is distinguished by high potential yield and excellent technological and baking qualities of the grain, making it attractive to regional agrarians. The average yield of the variety in the Far Eastern region is 25.5 c/ha, with a maximum recorded yield of up to 37.9 c/ha. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Khabarovsk Krai and has been successfully adapted to the soil and climate conditions of the Middle Amur region.

ANFEYA has moderate resistance to powdery and hard bunt, but is susceptible to septoria and highly susceptible to root rots, brown rust, and powdery mildew. The variety is also moderately susceptible to damage by the Hessian fly. Despite susceptibility to some diseases, the variety demonstrates stable yield formation and high lodging resistance, confirmed by multi-year research conducted from 2018 to 2023.

The creation of the ANFEYA variety was the result of comprehensive research and intraspecific hybridization aimed at obtaining new source material of spring soft wheat adapted to the specific conditions of the Far East. During testing, the variety showed good baking qualities and interested agrarians of the Amur region. ANFEYA is among the promising varieties capable of ensuring high yield and grain quality under complex regional climate conditions.
