Armada

Soft winter wheat of the ARMADA variety is a mid-early and medium-stature variety characterized by high winter hardiness and drought resistance. This variety is distinguished by its resistance to lodging, non-shattering, and non-germination in the field, which ensures crop preservation. Due to its high regenerative ability, ARMADA effectively forms new shoots and roots well, which contributes to increased yield. The variety is recommended for cultivation in regions such as the Stavropol Krai, Belgorod, and Kursk regions, and is included in the State Register for the Central Black Earth and North Caucasus regions.

ARMADA shows good resistance to major wheat diseases, including brown rust, solid stem rust, and Fusarium head blight, while being moderately susceptible to powdery mildew. These qualities make the variety a reliable choice for agricultural production under various climatic conditions and on different soil types. Baking properties of the variety are high, allowing for the production of high-quality flour and bread.

The variety was bred at the North Caucasus Federal Scientific Agro-Industrial Center and included in the register in 2020. Yield in Stavropol Krai reached 122.4 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity. ARMADA wheat seeds are available for purchase with delivery across Russia, facilitating their use in the agricultural sector.
