The «Avignon» winter soft wheat variety from «AF Ukrainske nasinnya» is a balanced choice for farmers aiming for high-quality grain and predictable results. Unlike taller varieties, this hybrid reaches only 60–70 cm in height, making it highly resistant to lodging even under heavy rainfall or intensive nitrogen application.

A Phytosanitary Shield

The main challenge with many intensive-type varieties is their vulnerability to fungal infections. «Avignon» distinguishes itself from competitors through its comprehensive resistance to key pathogens:

• Brown rust and Septoria: minimal risk of leaf surface damage.
• Fusarium head blight: reliable protection for the spike.
• Powdery mildew: the plant maintains vegetative activity even in dense stands.

These traits allow farmers to reduce fungicide input costs, which is critical for lowering the cost per ton of production.

Quality and Yield Performance
