The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable weather conditions. Plants reach a height of 81-90 cm, have a cylindrical ear type, and demonstrate resistance to lodging, shattering, powdery mildew, brown leaf rust, and Fusarium ear blight, which contributes to stable yields and reduced losses during storage.

Horodnitsia is characterized by high yield potential — from 6.0 to 6.9 tons per hectare. The grain has high quality: protein content reaches 12.5-13.9%, gluten — 26.1-28.5%, and flour strength varies within 260-330 a.u. Flour from this variety produces bread volume of 100 g of flour within 1100-1250 ml, indicating excellent baking properties. The thousand-grain weight is 42.4-47.5 g, indicating large kernel size and good market appeal.

To achieve maximum yields, the variety requires adherence to agronomic practices. The seeding rate is 5.0-6.0 million germinating seeds per hectare. An important element of cultivation technology is protection of plants from pests and diseases, conducted 2-3 times per season. Also, it is recommended to apply urea as a post-root fertilizer at a rate of 10-15 kg per hectare and the third nitrogen application during the heading — milk ripening phase. The variety responds well to mineral nutrition, promoting high yields and stable grain quality.
