Legend Bila Tserkva

Legend Bila Tserkva — a winter soft wheat variety recommended for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia areas. This medium-late variety is characterized by high yield potential up to 10.1 t/ha, making it attractive for agricultural producers. It belongs to the lutescens (naked) type and possesses a strong grain quality group, confirming its high class and profitability.

One of the key features of Legend Bila Tserkva is its high resistance to a wide range of diseases and stress factors. The variety shows resistance to brown rust, septoria, powdery mildew, Fusarium ear rot, root rots, and drought. Additionally, it exhibits high resistance to lodging and shattering, which helps maintain yield and improve grain quality. High gluten content and gluten deformation index (GDI) make the grain especially valuable for processing and production of high-quality flour.

For sowing, a seed rate of 4.5–5.5 million viable seeds per hectare is recommended, ensuring optimal plant development and maximum productivity. The variety is included in the State Register of Plant Varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine and is produced by specialized scientific farms.
