STAVROPOLSKAYA 7

The soft winter wheat variety Stavropolskaya 7 was developed at the North Caucasus Federal Scientific Agro Center and is intended for cultivation in Russia. This variety is distinguished by its high yield, which averaged 9.99 tons/ha over three years of trials, exceeding the standard by more than 1.7 tons/ha. The plants are dwarf with a semi-erect bush, resistant to lodging, which helps preserve the crop and facilitates harvesting.

Stavropolskaya 7 has high drought resistance and frost hardiness, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The variety demonstrates high disease resistance, reducing the need for intensive plant protection. It is recommended for sowing on medium and high-fertility soils, where it shows its best qualities and ensures a stable high yield.

The grain of the variety is characterized by good quality indicators, including low tannin content, which positively affects the quality of flour and bread. The ear is cylindrical, of medium length and density, the grain is colored, the mass of 1000 grains is 37-45 g. The variety belongs to medium-early ones, with a vegetative period of about 221-296 days, which allows effective planning of agrotechnical measures. High baking qualities make Stavropolskaya 7 in demand for the production of quality flour and bakery products.
