POVOLOZHSKAYA 21 is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with an intermediate maturity period, belonging to the Lutescens group. The variety has enhanced winter hardiness and drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in the Central Volga and Ural regions, including the Penza region, the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as the Northern Forest-Steppe and Eastern Steppe zones of the Orenburg region. POVOLOZHSKAYA 21 demonstrates resistance to diseases such as solid and powdery bunt, brown rust, and root rots, but is susceptible to powdery mildew.
