SIBIRSKY ALYANS

SIBIRSKY ALYANS is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of medium-early maturity type, intended for cultivation in the regions of Western and Eastern Siberia, including the Altai Krai, Tomsk region, Southern forest-steppe of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, and the Republic of Tuva. The plant is of medium height (about 82 cm) with a semi-erect bush and a pyramid-shaped ear of medium density. The vegetation period is 79-95 days, which allows the variety to ripen simultaneously with the reference variety Tuleevskaya or several days earlier than the Predgornaya variety. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 33 to 44 grams, indicating large-grainedness and high grain quality. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and germination on the root, which ensures yield stability under complex climatic conditions. Drought resistance is at the level of standard varieties, and disease resistance manifests as moderate resistance to fusarium of the ear, powdery and hard awn. At the same time, the variety is susceptible to septoria and root rots, as well as powdery mildew, which requires careful monitoring and application of protective agrotechnical measures. The yield of the SIBIRSKY ALYANS variety is high and stable: in the West Siberian region, the average indicator reaches 39.8 c/ha, which exceeds the average standard by 4.2 c/ha, and the maximum yield can reach 80.4 c/ha. The grain is characterized by excellent baking qualities, with a nativity of 780 g/L, gluten content of 32.5%, and raw protein of 14.9%, which makes this variety in demand for the production of high-quality flour and bakery products.
